In Grand Rapids, Minnesota, painter and sculptor Thomas C. Brady finds inspiration for his best work. Brady's painting and cast bronzes capture the grace, freedom and motion of such diverse subjects as Wildlife, Old West, American Indian peoples and other human figures.

Thomas C. Brady was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1944. He lived and worked in Minneapolis for many years before moving north to Grand Rapids in 1985. He had decided that he wanted to be an artist while he was still in high school. Later he studied at the St. Paul School of Arts, before graduating from the University of Minnesota.

In recent years, Brady paintings and sculptures have won accolades at shows, exhibits, and galleries around the country.

THE ARTIST'S VIEW:

My world as an artist has been an unchartered course of fortitude, spiritual talents, and dreams. It is into this world, a life foreign to many worldly standards, that I have chosen to venture. As an artist, I have set myself apart and vision the world through color and design.

It is through the earth and its habitat that I view and portray my visions. For me art has been a progression of dedication that started in my youth and that has brought me to a lifetime commitment as an artist. In both my bronze work and my paintings I present to you the world as I view it. My inspirations come through travel, through nature, and through fellow artists. Yet, even more so, my works are a spiritual dream concept of my inner being. When you view my work, please take a step beyond and dream along with me on my journey, and dream a dream of your own.
